Meet Your Guide: Josh Ellison

Alright, let's get to it. I'm Josh Ellison, and believe me, I've navigated the leadership maze – the good, the bad, and the 'is it Friday yet?'

Leading is almost never easy, is it? You get those incredible wins, but also the weight of big responsibilities, and sometimes, that can feel pretty isolating. Bearing that weight on your own is tough. When I was an executive, I often felt like I was constantly juggling too many balls, trying to be everything to everyone, spending my days putting out fires, catching up on the weekends, and secretly wondering when I would feel truly fulfilled.

Oh, how I wished for checkpoints, a cheerleading squad, validation, support, a clear plan for my own leadership development, and someone to genuinely acknowledge and celebrate those tangible wins with. It would have been truly incredible to have that kind of support.

Now that I’ve had the privilege of coaching leaders for over a decade, it’s become evident to me after working with so many that most business leaders have the same or similar challenges and insecurities, hopes, and goals I had when navigating all of that.

I absolutely love what I do! There's immense joy in getting to know well intentioned leaders, helping them discover and truly own their strengths, and partnering with them to achieve their big goals. Seeing good people make real and impactful changes in their leadership, their businesses, and their communities? That truly lights me up! My MBA is in New Business Venture Management, so being involved in the growth and support of so many different types of businesses is incredibly fulfilling. I even have clients who have been with me since the very beginning, and I hope to see them succeed for many more years to come.
