How Your Focused Leader Journey Works

Phase 1: Evaluate Your Leadership

The purpose of Phase 1 is to give us a baseline of your current capabilities and tendencies, and to help prioritize your focus areas of development. We will uncover your hidden strengths and potential blindspots with a 360 diagnostic feedback of your leadership. You will also discover your leadership purpose, reflect on and determine your core values, differentiators and known issues. The result: an increased awareness and understanding of your leadership style, improved confidence, and quieting your inner critic.

Phase 2: Plan Your Leadership

The purpose of Phase 2 is to provide a plan to guide your specific development efforts. We start by reviewing your 360° Leadership Diagnostic feedback results. We then create a plan to address the individual focus areas that you decide are most important to work on. As a result, you will come away with clear actions and habits needed to achieve your intended outcomes.

Phase 3: Implement Your Plan

You’ve created your plan! Now it’s time to begin taking focused and flexible action. Daily practice and weekly review of your progress is key to your development and overall success with your leadership journey. As you take action and build new habits, you’ll start to feel the positive impact of your efforts, and those around you will notice too. They may even begin to give you real-time feedback that you can then adapt and adjust your plan as needed.

Phase 4: Review & Celebrate Your Success

Yay!!! You did it! You made it to the end of this 6 month journey. Now it’s time to review and celebrate the results of your efforts. We take a look at your updated 360 report, and celebrate the progress you’ve made in your chosen focus areas. We then discuss options and you decide whether to continue the cycle of your leadership development by moving back to Phase 1 of the Focused Leader Journey, continue to practice your current focus areas on your own, or continue with coaching support.
